UHPA Fairways for Fallen Heroes Golf Tournament and Luncheon

The Utah Highway Patrol Association would like to invite you to join us on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Eaglewood Golf Course and Event Center for a very special event – the UHPA Fairways for Fallen Heroes Golf Tournament and Luncheon.

This one-day tournament will pay tribute to Utah Highway Patrol Troopers who made the ultimate sacrifice while raising funds for the families of these fallen heroes. Each hole at Eaglewood Golf Course will be dedicated to a fallen UHP Trooper, with a memorial placard on the tee box telling the Trooper’s story and featuring said Trooper’s accomplishments. We would like to invite you to participate in this special day to honor these fallen heroes by joining us as a Hole Sponsor of this great community event.

As a $1,500 sponsor of one of the 18 holes, you will receive:

• Four player spots in the 18-hole scramble golf tournament at Eaglewood Golf Course.
• Continental breakfast and special Swag Bag of Tee prizes for each player.
• Luncheon following the completion of play at approximately 12 noon at Eaglewood.
• Complimentary beverages during the course of play.
• Signage on the tee box of your sponsored hole that includes your company logo and a written tribute to the fallen UHP Trooper being honored on your hole. If desired, you can also stage a table, canopy or 10-by-10 tent on your hole’s tee box to offer a small tee prize (such as a water bottle, key chain etc. bearing your company logo) before the players tee off on your hole. Or, you can place your tee prize in the Swag Bag (144 players) given to each player at registration.
• Your company name and logo will scroll on the electronic boards/signs at Eaglewood throughout the day as a hole sponsor, and at the awards ceremony and luncheon at the Eaglewood Event Center following play.
• Your company will be listed in the UHPA Magazine and in all pre-tournament publicity.

The Fairways for Fallen Heroes Tournament and Luncheon begins on Monday, August 21, with check-in and a continental breakfast at 7 a.m., followed by an 8 a.m. shotgun start at Eaglewood Golf Course, 1110 E. Eaglewood Drive on the East Bench of North Salt Lake.

The golf tournament will be followed by a gourmet lunch, raffle, prize presentation and a solemn ceremony honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice at the newly renovated Eaglewood Event Center adjacent to the golf course. Utah Governor Spencer Cox and other dignitaries are scheduled to join us for this celebration of our Fallen Heroes.

Additional add-on sponsorship opportunities are available, such as logo golf balls, logo hats, logo towels and other tee prizes.
